The objective of Vertigo Studio’s research starts from a base of observation of nature and therefore of the “daily”.
The creative process of this ArtWork collection is the union on a single level of what we call “natural” which represents a non-regular or irrational component (everything that is governed by nature in an anomalous way), with what we call “human ”, which represents a regular or rational component (everything that is created by man according to a rule), keeping active the aesthetic canons given by Vertigo I such as: Abstractionism, Black and White and search for the Sign.
The choice to use newspaper is given by the desire to communicate the habit of drawing and continuous research in everyday life, also incorporating a raw and accessible printing effect.
The content alternates digital ArtWorks and cuttings of canvases extrapolated from a series of six paintings measuring 120cm x 120cm then divided into cuttings measuring 21cm x 29.7cm and inserted into the pages using movable pins.
