NUMERO CINQUE - XEEVR
What is the point of an interview when there is a need to stay anonymous? What else do you need to know? Where do I get inspiration from? How did I start? I think the way you paint speaks very clearly, and even if it doesn't, does it matter? If you are good observers you will be able to catch a lot of information from each writer's pieces.
Graffiti is an extension of who we are, it is an excellent tool for understanding who we are and what we like, it is obviously up to the individual to take the best out of this practice which is nowadays inevitably intrinsic to human history.
It's a bit like looking in the mirror in a certain sense, over the years we change and so does the way we paint (it's not always like this for everyone unfortunately). Each piece we make defines where we are with our life. A constantly changing process, without a well-defined end, with the possibility of exploring an infinite amount of knowledge to continue searching for the best version of oneself.
While I paint a piece, I do nothing but thinking about what the next one will be like, I should focus more on the present but the curiosity is great, and the moment in which you paint something new that you had never thought of before or when you become aware of your behavior that you had never noticed before is a wonderful feeling.
At this point I know you're reading the whole text, but then again, if you read it it's because you wanted to know something about me, right? Well, I can tell you for sure that graffiti has helped me to get to know aspects of myself that I had never taken into consideration, if I am what I am today it is certainly also thanks to this practice, for better or for worse they have defined and continue to define my tastes, my actions and my acquaintances even outside of when I write Xeevr.
Nothing is by chance, if you have started painting there is certainly a motivation, I just hope that there is the right awareness of why, in the end what is the point of doing something without knowing the reason?
